Since she is hours away and home for Labor Day, was going to do the shotgun approach and replace the switch and the regulator/motor. Anyone have any instructions/DIY?May 12, 2016 · I don't understand though why it locks out the drivers controls, on most cars it locks out all the other controls leaving the drivers active. Wow - my battery died and I had the same issue on my 2015 OB - the drivers side switch for the passenger window wasn't working.The solution to use the the passenger side switch to roll the window down halfway, then hold roll up for 5 seconds solution worked for me. I think I heard a click too.Usually the reset procedure solves the issue. I'd try disconnecting the battery for 2 or 3 minutes to ensure the window module memory is killed, and after reconnecting it again, try the power window switch. If it still needs a reset, see if it will cooperate now. Good Luck!
